It is unusually clean for its age: undamaged and complete, with only a few small brown flecks in the well that read as the iron spotting of old earthenware.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe saladier sur pied belonged to the French table, raised on its foot so it stood clear of the rest of the setting.
