The piece has a refined Louis XV-inspired silhouette with decorative scroll handles and pedestal base, giving it an elegant yet rustic French country character.
The tureen was found at an antique market in the northern France. It's an early 20th century French serving tureen produced by Faiencerie d'Onnaing (Nord), featuring the sought-after Roses Mousses pattern in a soft deep green.
The tureen is in very good antique condition with no crazing or stain which makes it also suitable for serving.
