The Little White Jug
A small plain white jug in white earthenware, Scandinavian, dating from the early to mid twentieth century. Straight sided and softly tapered, with a single raised band at the neck and a simple strap handle, and no decoration anywhere on it. The glaze carries an even light softening that has come with age. Unmarked apart from a painted U to the base, a workman's or size mark.
Household ware of this kind was made in quantity for Swedish kitchens and rarely signed.

Condition and patina consistent with age.
