Found at a market in Amiens, northern France.

A round serving platter made by the Faïenceries de Longwy in Lorraine around 1890–1920, in the Marie-Thérèse pattern — a Louis XVI-style border of green floral garlands and ribbon bows on cream terre de fer. The pattern name sits in the printed crest mark on the back.

Even, fine crazing across the glaze, as expected of old terre de fer; no chips, no cracks. The underside shows light age toning in the crazing.

Measurements — CM: diameter 32 cm, height 3.5 cm. INCH: diameter 12.6 in, height 1.4 in.
