Found at a market in Amiens, northern France. Two large round serving dish in French terre de fer, made by H.B. & Cie at Choisy-le-Roi around 1880–1910. The pattern is in sage green sprays of daisies and wild roses with a lace-like border on cream ironstone, softened by even crazing and a warm patina.
Very good antique condition with no chips or cracks; a few small production glaze marks on the underside. Two are available — price is per dish.
