The Blue Stencil Bol
The Blue Stencil Bol
Found at a morning market in Amiens, this faceted café au lait bowl carries the classic cobalt stencil flowers of 1930s–40s France. Made for milky coffee and dipped baguette, it still does that job beautifully — or holds berries, jam or small kitchen things.
White-glazed earthenware on a low pedestal foot, unmarked as most everyday French bols were. A thin hairline and light crazing to the interior are shown in the photos; no chips.
